FOXY LASH CO

THE BRIEF:
We were approached by an entrepreneur to name and brand their new lash and beauty line.

THE CHALLENGE:
To make the beauty brand stand out in a crowded market.

THE SOLUTION:
After a brainstorming session with the client we called the brand FOXY LASHCO. We designed a simple luxurious logo with gold embossing. We presented some tagline options to the client.
The chosen tagline being: FOXY LASHCO, DANGEROUSLY GORGEOUS LASHES.

Our research unearthed a wealth of opportunities around UX and design around the beauty industry holistically as well as the potential to streamline key business processes related to stock management and order fulfilment. We set out to create the brand and form guidelines for the vision, values, voice and visual style.

After the logo creation we helped the client source all of the products, write copy and descriptions for each product, named the products for the line coupled with unique names, designed and printed the packaging as well as the insert booklets.

We then went on to create the ecommerce experience. We chose to integrate Afterpay throughout their shopping experience. Clients can choose from a variety of checkout options to suit their payment preferences, all from within the one eCommerce solution across desktop and mobile.

THE TECHNICAL BIT:
We put a strong focus on seamless user experience, beautiful design and a forward-thinking eCommerce customer experience.
 The site was built as a custom Shopify site.

We know customers like to navigate in different ways. Some people know exactly what they’re after, while others prefer a more discovery-based approach that enables exploration and inspiration. When it comes to ecommerce product purchases, both approaches are equally valid and our user testing demonstrated the importance of choice and personalisation throughout the shopping experience.

We adjusted our navigation and filtering accordingly, enabling customers to shop by ‘product’, ‘collection’, category’, ‘sets’ or ‘price’ ensuring all options are easily accessible and optimised across both desktop and mobile making it sleek, responsive and easy to use.
